Because the Japanese pronunciation of "2" sounds similar to Nyan Nyan Nyan, which is also close to the onomatopoeia "ニャン" for a cat's meow, it naturally became Japan's Meow Meow Meow Day (Cat Day)! Whether it's the beckoning cat (maneki-neko) or the cat islands that are a must-visit when traveling, cats seem to be especially cherished in Japan.

The owner's little story of becoming a cat slave - adopting two Domestic Shorthair cats from a Hong Kong cat volunteer.
I've always loved small animals. There were dozens of stray cats in the alley near my home, and I would use surplus materials from my online store (such as packaging boxes, blanket fabric) to make temporary shelters for the stray cats. When I was able to have pets, I decided I would only adopt, and the breed didn't matter.
It wasn't until a cat volunteer shared the daily lives of these two siblings – playing with each other, grooming each other, born into a family with two sisters – that I truly felt the happiness of having companionship. So, without considering any other cats, I decided to bring them home and prepared everything they needed, like cat window perches and litter boxes. In a blink of an eye, both cats are almost three years old.
Yellow cat Mui Mui:
80% ofyellow cats are male, so I'm very lucky to be a yellow female cat! She is as gluttonous as most yellow cats, always seeming to be hungry. Her personality is quite shy and timid, but with familiar people, she's incredibly affectionate. She sleeps with her owner in all seasons, and as soon as she sees a lap, she'll automatically settle down <3
Gor Gor, the Tabby Cat
Tabby cats usually have an "M" mark on their forehead (the owner thinks it looks a bit like the "eight of sparrows" in mahjong, haha), which is probably their cutest feature, and something other cats like white cats, black cats, or tortoiseshell cats definitely don't have!
He has a great personality, loves interacting with people, and is very affectionate and clingy. He loves to play, and is curious about the world every day.
He deeply cares for Mui Mui, for instance, he waits until his sister has eaten before he starts eating, always letting her have the good things first.
Pets that heal emotional wounds
At first, I thought I was accompanying them, but after spending time together, they're actually the ones accompanying me. My mundane life has been filled with many sweet moments. They accompany me to work, eat, watch TV, and sleep. As an experienced cat slave, I'm willing to scoop litter for a lifetime!
